Format: npv( rate, cflist )
Arguments: (real) rate Interest rate per period
(1=100%)
[real] cflist List of cash flows; the first cash flow
occurs at time 0 and all subsequent cash flows occur at the end
of periods 1 to N
Returns: (real) The net present value of cash flows cflist
discounted at an interest rate of rate
Description: Npv calculates the net present value of a
series of future cash flows using the following equation:
Examples: npv(10%,[-100,12,14,15,18,130])
= 26.763
