Decision-Making

In addition to basic and complex input/output scripts, you can create decision-making applications for the Internet using DecisionScript. These include decision tree, rule-based, and AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) scripts. Though each can be built and run separately, they can also be combined into a single script, thereby expanding the type and amount of information you can provide and receive from your Web site visitors.

To illustrate how each of these scripts can be used online, a fictitious cellular phone company--Jupiter Cellular--has been created. Jupiter Cellular offers five wireless service plans and eight types of cell phones. Each of the following scripts has been developed to illustrate the basic elements required to build the scripts, and how the scripts can be used to promote your company’s products and services on the Internet.
