trand
Format: trand( x1, x2, x3 )
Arguments: (real) x1 Lower limit
(real) x2 Most likely value
(real) x3 Upper limit
Returns: (real) Pseudo-random number from a triangular
distribution
Description: Trand generates random numbers that are
drawn from a triangular probability distribution. The sequence of
numbers generated by trand has a period that is
essentially infinite. Also, there are no sensible sequential
correlations.
Examples: trand(5,10,20) = random
number between 5 and 20 with a most likely value of 10, PDF
