Sophisticated Email Invitation Functionality Added to Vanguard Vista™

Upload Contact Lists, Create Emails, and Manage Survey Invitations Directly in Vanguard Vista™

Cary, NC – June 14, 2007 – Vanguard Software, a provider of enterprise decision support software, announces today that it has added Email Invitation functionality to Vanguard Vista™. With this new functionality, Vista users can upload a contact list, compose an email containing a survey link, and send out the email invitations via Vista's Web-based interface. Sending emails directly through Vista provides a number of advantages including linking responses to contacts, uploading custom fields to personalize emails or pre-populate surveys, automatically sending out reminder emails to non-responders, and automatically handling bounced email addresses that the system reports to you.

Previously, Vista generated a Survey Link which users could embed in an email that was sent out through their own email system. With Vista's Email Invitation functionality, a user simply has to upload a contact list (which can be just the email addresses), compose the email using Vista's Rich Text editor, and Vista will do the rest. "The new Email Invitation functionality in Vista provides a tremendous benefit for most Vista users," says Nathan Shackles, Product Manager for Vanguard Vista. "This new functionality simplifies and centralizes the workflow for launching a survey and also provides functions that were not previously available to Vista users."

At the time of this writing, the Email Invitation functionality is available to all Vista customers at no charge up to a maximum number of emails with a per-email charge over the maximum.
