released the Vanguard System™, a new enterprise
decision analysis and collaborative modeling application
that is uniquely capable of capturing company know-how in
the form of active, quantitative business models. By
applying Vanguard Software’s innovative
component-based modeling technology – a style of
modeling that allows complex problems to be broken down
into a collection of smaller, individually built models
that are linked together to represent the original
problem – companies can build large models
collaboratively and automatically roll them up. The
Vanguard System is the first decision support application
to combine the sophisticated analytics, knowledge-capture
interface, and collaborative modeling capabilities that
