Advanced Analytics
DecisionPro's modeling abilities are backed by very powerful
basic analytic capabilities such as list and matrix processing,
units of measure support, an extensive library of built-in
functions, and the ability to create library models.
List and Matrix Processing
Values used in calculations are not limited to individual
numbers and text. You can also use lists and matrices, which
provide a convenient method of working with statistical data and
multiple scenarios.
Units of Measure
Units allow you to assign meaning to quantities. DecisionPro
automatically carries units through all calculations, scaling
quantities, accumulating/canceling dimensions, and displaying
results in meaningful terms. This helps eliminate many types of
user errors.
Built-In Functions
DecisionPro's built-in functions, called primitives,
support a complete set of capabilities that will allow you to
perform almost any analysis you require. Many of these primitives
perform very sophisticated functions, such as numeric calculus.
These capabilities make it easy to specify the result you want
and leave the mathematical details to DecisionPro.
Library Models
DecisionPro is completely extensible. If any function you
routinely use is not in DecisionPro's set of primitives, you can
build a model to perform the function you require, save it as a
library model, and then use it in all future sessions just as if
the function were built into DecisionPro.
