Data Analysis
You can import historical or experimental data from other
applications, such as spreadsheets and databases, or enter data
directly into DecisionPro tables. Once in DecisionPro, data can
be subjected to a wide variety of statistical analyses and even
manipulated by your own custom statistical models.
DecisionPro makes it easy to perform regression analyses,
generate graphs, fit curves to your data, produce histograms and
cumulative distributions, etc. In addition, DecisionPro provides
you with advanced graphing capabilities, such as 3-D surface
plots, which help you visualize your data.
You can use regression analysis to characterize historical or
experimental data. DecisionPro automatically plots residuals to
make it easy to check your data for unwanted temporal
dependencies and homoscedasticity. A histogram of residuals can
also be produced to check for normality.
